2.0 Site Description
This section includes property location and legal description; site and vicinity
characteristics; descriptions of structures, roads, and other improvements on the site;
environmental liens, current uses of the property; past uses of the property, current and past
uses of adjoining properties; and site map.
2.1 Location and Legal Description
The property is located in Stockton, California, southwest of the intersection of El
Dorado Street and Weber Avenue as shown in the site plan in Appendix B. The site is
bounded on the north by Weber Avenue. The west side of the property is bounded by Center
Street and the east side is bounded by El Dorado Street. An unnamed alley borders the site on
the south, which is the entrance and exit to the parking lot. The lot is approximately one-half
of a city block. A legal description of the site was not available during report preparation.
2.2 Site and Vicinity Characteristics
The site lies on property owned by the City and is currently used as a parking lot. The
lot is paved with asphalt, with light standards throughout the lot. The perimeter of the lot is
enclosed with a chain-link fence. There are two openings in the fence along El Dorado Street
to allow pedestrian access to the lot. There is also a vehicle entrance and exit on the south side
of the lot. Vegetation is present around the perimeter of the site. Each side of the lot has two
curb storm drain inlets. There are also two area drains in the center of the parking lot.
2.3 Descriptions of Structures, Roads, Other Improvements on
the Site
This subsection includes descriptions of structures, roads, and other improvements on
the property.
2.3.1 General Description of Structures
The only structure on the site is the parking lot attendant station. The attendant station
is a small single level structure with an oversized roof. The structure appears to be provided
with water, gas, and electricity.
2.3.2 Roads
There are no roads on the property, only aisles within the paved parking lot.
l&v Project 62041.100 2-1
M\62041\Phase-Ldoc(1/27/99)
