4B. EMERGENCY EQUIPMENT • * • • MAINTENANCE <br />This section describes the emergency equipment at the facility and the applicable <br />maintenance and inspection schedules. <br />Maintain all emergency equipment and inspect regularly according to the schedule <br />identified in the Tables 4-1 through 4-3. <br />Inspections involve visually checking emergency protection systems and equipment to <br />ensure that they are in place, charged, and ready for use in the event of an <br />emergency. <br />Maintenance involves a more thorough examination and servicing of equipment. <br />Maintain water supply systems at all times. <br />1. Communication and/or Alarm System: <br />Commercial telephones and company phones are located in the Office & <br />Warehouse Building. In addition, most PG&E vehicles are equipped with two-way <br />radios that can be used to summon assistance in the event that telephone service <br />is cut. Telephones and radios are in continual use and are maintained as needed. <br />As a backup, battery -powered bullhorns moi' • <br />emergency# <br />2. Firefighting Equipment: <br />A complete list of fire extinguishers and other firefighting equipment located at <br />this facility and their inspection schedule is presented in Table 4-1. Locations of <br />fire extinguishers are depicted on Figure 2-1, Facility Layout and Location Map. <br />3. mill Control and Personal Protective Equipment: <br />A complete list of spill control and personal protective equipment found at this <br />facility and their inspection schedule is presented on Table 4-2. Locations of this <br />equipment are depicted on Figure 2-1. <br />4. First -Aid Supplies: <br />A list of first-aid supplies available at this facility and an inspection schedule is <br />presented in Table 4-3.
