OPEN CIRCuii DETECTION: <br />Detects an open circuit between motor and <br />controller. Condition is indicated on flashing red light <br />alerting service technician to the cause of the problem. <br />Reduces service cost by quickly defining the cause <br />of trouble to the service technician. <br />LOW VOLTAGE DETECTION: <br />Detects low voltage conditions that cause excessive <br />heat in motor. Condition is detected and pump <br />automatically shuts off. Once voltage returns to <br />operating range, the STP -SC auto resets allowing <br />motor to run. <br />Extends motor life by eliminating progressive heat <br />damage to motor windings. <br />PUMP MOTOR FAILURE DETECTION: <br />Signals locked rotor in pump motor by flashing red light. <br />Reduces service time by immediately alerting <br />service technician to cause of problem. <br />aTu REMOTE DIAGNOSTIC CAPABILITY: <br />All STP -SC controllers are equipped with an RS485 <br />serial communication port to facilitate on site and <br />remote communications of all diagnostic functions <br />for future site integration. <br />Provides the future opportunity for service personnel <br />to determine the "fault" prior to arriving at the site, <br />assuring the availability of parts and technical support <br />on the first service call.
