Specific <br /> violations and required corrective action are listed below. <br /> Failure to correct the identified violations will result in DHS <br /> citing you for continuing/additional violations. <br /> I. Report of Violations <br /> 1 . Section 25189 (d) , Division 20, Health and Safety <br /> Code: <br /> Hazardous waste is being disposed of at a point not <br /> authorized by the Department as evidenced by: <br /> a. Sample results reveal the paint sludge generated <br /> by the spray paint booth exhaust system contains <br /> lead and copper present in excess of the Total <br /> Threshold Limit Concentration (TTLC) values for <br /> lead and copper found in Section 66699, <br /> Title 22 , California Code of Regulations (Cal. <br /> Code Regs. ) . According to statements made <br /> during the inspection, the paint sludge has been <br /> disposed of to the sanitary landfill. A <br /> sanitary landfill is not an authorized point for <br /> the disposal of hazardous waste, unless written <br /> approval has been received from the Department. <br />
