I offer the following response to both Inspections in this report. <br /> Hazardous Waste Generator Program m Inspection Report: <br /> #10, - 66262.11 CCR, Failed to determine if a waste is a hazardous waste. —The drums <br /> used to store/collect condensate from smoke at the Smog Hog areas were said to contain <br /> non-hazardous liquid. According to operator condensate has not yet been disposed of nor <br /> has laboratory analysis been made to confirm its characteristics. If facility would like to <br /> continue to deem the condensate as non-hazardous, have a sample of the condensate <br /> analyzed by a certified laboratory and provide results to confirm the determination. <br /> Submit results to this office by 7-11-07. <br /> A representative sample was taken and tested as follows: TTLC—CAM 17, EPA 8260B <br /> —Volatiles,EPA 8270C—Semi Volatiles—Organic Compounds, EPA 8080A— <br /> Pesticides/PCB. The results from the above sampling/testing proved out to be NON- <br /> Hazardous Material. Please find as Attachment# 1,the analytical results with chain of <br /> custody that supports our findings. <br /> #12, - 66265.31 CCR, Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous <br /> waste. —The floor sweeper in the shop appeared to be leaking oil onto the floor. In <br /> addition, the secondary containment for the used oil totes had significant amount of oil in <br /> it. Secondary containment shall be kept free of liquid and debris at all time.
