As a result of <br /> that inspection, violations of hazardous waste statutes and <br /> regulations were found. <br /> Violations: <br /> 1. Health and Safety Code (HSC) , Section 25201 and Title <br /> 22 , California Code of Regulations, (Cal Code Regs) , <br /> Section 66508 (a) . <br /> a. On or about February 21, 1991, SWPC stored <br /> hazardous waste greater than 90 days without receiving <br /> a Hazardous Waste Permit. <br /> b. SWPC maintained five, 55-gallon drums of hazardous <br /> waste greater than 90 days, located at the oil/solvent <br /> storage area. <br /> HSC, Sections 25189 . 5 (b) and 25143 .2 (e) (1) (2) . <br /> On or about February 21, 1991, SWPC had been disposing <br /> hazardous waste at a point not authorized by DHS and <br /> used in a manner constituting disposal to the ground. <br /> a. SWPC generates approximately 40 tons annually of <br /> spent, zinc phosphate sludge and is disposing of the <br /> hazardous waste to an unauthorized facility for the <br /> purpose of producing a fertilizer. <br />
