Violation of Title 22 of the California Code of <br /> 5 Regulations Section 66305: Defendants SUMIDEN WIRE PRODUCTS <br /> 6 CORPORATION and J.R. SIMPLOT COMPANY failed to make a Recyclable <br /> 7 Material determination for Zinc Phosphate and Sulfuric Acid; <br /> 8 2b. Violations of Title 22 of the California Code of <br /> 9 Regulations Section 66480 . Defendant SUMIDEN WIRE PRODUCTS <br /> 10 CORPORATION shipped recyclable material off-site without required <br /> 11 manifests. <br /> 12 2c. Violations of Title 22 of the California Code of <br /> 13 Regulations Section 66508(a) : On or about February 21 , 1992 , <br /> 14 Defendant SUMIDEN WIRE PRODUCTS CORPORATION failed to have all <br /> 15 safety and emergency equipment on site as required by this <br /> 16 regulation; <br /> 17 2d. Violation of Title 22 of the California Code of <br /> 18 Regulations Section 66508: Defendant SUMIDEN WIRE PRODUCTS <br /> 19 CORPORATION stored waste oil meeting the definition of hazardous <br /> 20 waste in insufficiently labeled containers; <br /> 21 3 . These violations were technical in nature. There is no <br /> 22 evidence of harm to human health or the environment resulting from <br /> 23 these violations. <br /> 24 4 . SUMIDEN WIRE PRODUCTS CORPORATION has installed, at a cost <br /> 25 of approximately $250,000 , acid regeneration equipment which removes <br /> 26 ferrous sulphate from acid used in the pickling process, returning <br /> 27 regenerated sulfuric acid to the process. The ferrous sulfate- <br /> 28 crystals are presently being sold with approval from the State of <br /> 5 <br />
