This is a repeat violation from the change of owner consultation conducted <br /> 11-9-15. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION.Exhaust hoods shall be provided to remove toxic gases, heat, grease, vapors and smoke and:'!be approved by <br /> the local building department. Canopy-type hoods shall extend 6"beyond all cooking equipment. All areas shall have sufficient ventilation <br /> to facilitate proper food storage. Toilet rooms shall be vented to the outside air by a screened openable window, an air shaft, or a <br /> light-switch activated exhaust fan, consistent with local building codes.(114149, 114149.1)Adequate lighting shall be provided in all areas <br /> in areas where open food is stored, served, prepared, and where utensils are washed <br /> to facilitate cleaning and inspection. Light fixtures A <br /> shall be of shatterproof construction orprotected with light shields. (114149 2, 114149.3, 114252, 11.4252.1) <br /> #45 f=loors,Walls, Ceilings; Clean and Maintained <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The ceiling vent by the south 5 door walk-in cooler is leaking. Repair leak by 3 weeks. <br /> There is a hole in the ceiling above the 3-camp sink(right side). Patch the hole in the ceiling.with an approved material. (The <br /> finished surface shall be smooth, cleanable, durable and non-absorbent). Repair hole by 3 weeks. <br /> The storage room ceiling behind the beer 5-door cooler is leaking. Repair this leak by 3 weeks. <br /> The storage room walls (north wall especially) have openings around pipes and wires doming into the building. Close off all <br /> openings with an approved material. See above. Repair by 3 weeks. <br /> The storage room north wall fan exterior screen is askew/has moved. Reposition the screen on the exterior side of this fan <br /> to close the opening. Reposition today. <br /> The ceiling above the north door is open. Close off ceiling with approved materials by 3 weeks. This is a repeat violation <br /> I from the change of ownership consultation conducted 11-9-15. <br /> The screen on the north openable window is torn. Replace screen by 3 weeks. <br /> The floors throughout the facility need to be swept/cleaned. Sweep/clean floors by 3 weeks. Concentrate on hard to reach <br /> areas. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION: The walls/ceilings shall have durable, smooth,nonabsorbent, light-colored, and washable surfaces. All floor <br /> surfaces, other than the customer service areas, shall be approved, smooth, durable and made of nonabsorbent material.that is easily <br /> cleanable. Approved base coving shall be provided in all areas, except customer service areas and where food is stored in original <br /> unopened containers. Food facilities shall be fully enclosed. All food facilities shall be kept clean and in good repair.
