Weber Ave. 3rd Floor
Stockton, Ca 95201
REFERENCE: LETTER DATED SEPTEMBER 6, 1995 ON INSTALLATION PLAN FOR J & L
MARKET. LOCATED AT 8115 S. EL DORADO ST., FRENCH CAMP
Dear Ms. Foley,
In answers to your letter dated September 6, 1995.
1. a) Veeder/Root TLS 350 will monitor the piping sump for any fluid using a float sensor#7943. Since the
product secondary pipe will be slopped back to the piping sump 1/8" per foot, any release of product
from the primary pipe would run back to the piping sump through the secondary. This in turn would
trip the float sensor and cause the turbine to shut down through the TLS-350 monitor.
b) The TLS-350 controls the turbines and in case of a power failure on the TLS-350 the turbines WILL
NOT function. If a sensor is disconnected, the TLS-350 will show an open sensor and not allow the
turbines to operate.
c) The Veeder/Root TLS-350 has a built-in audible alarm and a visual red light alarm.
NOTE for A, B, & C on the Veeder/Root TLS-350:
Elite IV Contractors Inc., is factory trained and is an authorized warranty contractor for Veeder/Root
products. Elite IV will perform an on-site demonstration on the proper function and/or programming of
the Veeder/Root TLS-350. Elite IV Contractors Inc., is also required by the factory to inform the in-user
(dealer) of the systems operations at the TLS-350. Elite IV being factory trained will be glad to answer
any questions Environmental Health may have on this system.
d) The Bravo box is a self-contained unit which in case of any fluid would cause a float to rise. Attached
to the float is a chain which is attached to the impact valve lever arm causing shut-off at the impact valve
because of fluid. Please see attached.
Page ] of 2
