SUMMARY AND CONCLUSIONS '., Based'on the'findingsTrom this investigation,AGE concludes: ; • Ground water elevation of the site averaged approximately 19.43 feet below MSL,indicating- an.avera gq ndicating,an•average increase in ground water:elevation of.1.39 feet since the last monitoring event in November 2004. _ a l'•�I • Ground water was inferred'to be flowing toward the southwestunder a hydraulic gradient of ' approximately 0.008 ft/ft;the ground water flow direction is consistent.with historical flow directions'at this site. . MTBE was detected in the ground water sample collected from' well MW-1 at., a. concentration of 34µg/1. With the exception of 1,2-DCA detected in well MW-1 at the time, of the initial ground water sampling event on 07 April 2003, no other target analytes have :been detected in-wells MW-'l through MW-3.'. .00 • The concentration of MTBE is above the DHS' Maximum Contaminant Level (MCL) of 13 µg/l for drinking water. *, • The lateral extent of the dissolved MTBE plume is not yet defined generally west of the site. 5A. RECOMMENDATIONS ` Based on the.findings'of the-environmental activities recounted inthis.report, AGE recommends: •. Continuation of quarterly ground water monitoring at the ,site; the-second quarter 2005 monitoring event,was performed-on 16 June,2005. . • Additional site assessment to determine the vertical and lateral extents,of dissolved MTBE. 6.0.
