Subsurface Environmental Investigation September 21, 1988 <br /> r Abandoned Lerner Service Station, Lodi, California <br /> ® AGS 38055-1 <br /> The highest reading produced was from a soil sample collected at <br /> approximately the ground-water surface in boring B-4. <br /> Soil W lin <br /> Samp2,es selected for chemical analysis were removed from the <br /> sampler and sealed with aluminum foil, plastic caps, and airtight <br /> tape. The samples were then labeled and placed in iced storage <br /> fh�1 <br /> for transport to the analytical laboratory. At the request <br /> the client, the sanples.were not analyzed. in a laboratory becaus=e <br /> subjective evidence of soil and ground-water contamination served <br /> the client's interests in purchasing the property. <br /> monitoring Well construction <br /> Monitoring well MW-1 was constructed in boring -4 with 2-inch- <br /> inner-diameter, Schedule 40 polyvinyl chloride (PVC) casing after <br /> �+ the 8-inch-diameter boring was drilled. No chemical cements, or <br /> solvents were used in well construction.
