Advanced
G e o Environmental , Inc .
21 October 2013
AGE Project No. 13-2675
Mr. Johnny Yokum
San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
1868 East Hazelton Avenue
Stockton, CA 95205
Subject: Phase II Site Assessment Work Plan
PIMENTEL PROPERTY
1650 South EI Dorado Street, Stockton, California
Dear Mr. Yokum:
At the request of Mr. Ernesto Renteria, Advanced GeoEnviron mental, Inc. (AGE) has
prepared this Phase 11 Site Assessment Work Plan for the site located at 1650 South EI
Dorado Street, Stockton, California (site). The work plan provides procedures for the
collection of soil, groundwater and soil-vapor samples at the subject site. A site plan
depicting the proposed boring locations is illustrated in Figure 1.
INTRODUCTION
Historical information available for the site address indicates that a dry cleaning operation
was formerly located on the eastern portions of the site from approximately 1911 until
approximately 1960. Furthermore, historical Sanborn Fire Insurance maps for the site
indicate the presence of potential in-ground fuel tanks located on the east-central portion
of the site; as well as a steaming room or steam generator in the central portion of the site.
Based upon the findings, AGE proposes the following scope of work.
SCOPE OF WORK
AGE proposes to advance a total of eight soil borings at the site; four soil borings will be
advanced for collection of soil and grab groundwater samples to approximate depths of
30 feet below surface grade (bsg) and four soil borings will be advanced for collection of
soil-vapor samples to approximate depths of 10 feet bsg. Proposed soil boring locations
are depicted in Figure 1.
837 Shaw Road • Stockton, CA 95215
Telephone (209)467-1006 • Fax (209)467-1 1 18
