Pg2 4036 Part B <br /> Section 6 Health Hazard Data <br /> Inhalation Health Risks and Symptoms of Exposure: No evidence of toxicity due to inhalation of <br /> vapors has been found under normal working conditions. <br /> Health Risks and Symptoms of Exposure: Repeated skin contact may cause irritation. Eye <br /> contact will cause irritation - flush with water for 15 minutes and get medical assistance. <br /> Skin Absorption Health Risks and Symptoms of Exposure: Repeated skin contact can cause <br /> reddening, swelling and blistering. <br /> Ingestion Health Risks: Oral toxicity low level, can cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and/or <br /> bums mouth. <br /> Additional Comments: This product contains petroleum oils similar to ones categorized by the <br /> international Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) as causing skin cancer in mice after <br /> prolonged and repeated contact. If mists are generated, may cause irritation of the pulmonary <br /> tract, skin or eyes. Any potential hazard can be minimized by using recommended protective <br /> equipment to avoid skin contact and by washing thoroughly after each handling. <br /> Medical conditions generally aggravated by exposure: Skin and eyes sensitization. <br /> Emergency and First Aid Procedures: Eye: Flush with water for 15 minutes. Inhalation: Take <br /> person to fresh air. If difficulty in breathing persists provide oxygen and get medical attention <br /> immediately. Skin Contact: Wash with soap and water. Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. <br /> Consult Physician immediately. <br /> Section 7 Precautions: Safe Handling & Use <br /> Spilled Product: Eliminate ignition sources like heat, open flame and sparks, ventilate area of <br /> spill and dike area. Cover the spill with inert absorbent and place into proper containers. <br /> Disposal: Dispose of per Federal, State and local law permits. <br /> Storage: Keep in cool dry area, away from heat and open flame or sparks. <br /> Other Precautions: Individuals with respirator problems to isocyanates must not be exposed to <br /> vapors or spray mist containing isocyanates. <br /> Section 8 Control Measures <br /> Respiratory Protection: None required under normal/ambient conditions where work areas are <br /> adequately ventilated. If TLV of the product or any component is exceeded, a MSHA/NIOSH <br /> approved respirator is recommended in the absence of proper environmental control. <br /> Ventilation: Local Exhaust for enclosed areas. Good general Ventilation should be sufficient for <br /> most conditions. <br /> Protective Gloves: Chemical Resistant Natural Rubber <br /> Eye Protection: Chemical Safety Goggles <br /> Clothing: Long sleeves, Lab coat or aprons. <br /> Avoid unnecessary exposure to vapors and mists.
