Health and Safety Requirements <br /> Eating, drinking, chewing gum or tobacco, smoking or removing the required safety <br /> equipment while exposed to the immediate construction area shall be prohibited and <br /> enforced by the Project Manager at all times of the process. <br /> Washroom facilities are readily accessible within the concerned facility and shall be made <br /> available to all involved personnel at all times of the process. <br /> Any and all waste or debris shall be contained and properly labeled as required and <br /> properly disposed of as required. <br /> Any and all other hygiene requirements or safety requirements deemed necessary by the <br /> Project Manager and/or the Project Site Safety Officer shall be enforced. <br /> Specifically, no one shall enter an excavated pit area that is not shored/sloped/benched or <br /> deemed safe by the Project Site Safety Officer after determining that the same does not <br /> qualify as a confined space and only after a reading for potential gases have been taken <br /> and have been determined safe. <br /> No person shall enter a confined space or excavation pit alone or without the attendance <br /> of the Project Site Safety Officer in direct contact. <br /> Emergency Telephone Numbers <br /> Project Manager 707 693-2929 <br /> Project Site Safety Officer 707 693-2929 <br /> W.
