All proper authorities and fuel representatives were <br />contacted and made aware of the spill. <br />Description of corrective and remedial actions: All employees are trained yearly to deal <br />with and handle gas spills which contain hazardous materials. A separate curriculum is <br />provided dealing with spills over %, gallon. <br />8. Methods of clean up implemented to date, and proposed cleanup actions with a time <br />schedule: Our method of clean up implies the employee 1. Determined if spill is <br />manageable. 2. Coned area off to prevent others from coming into contact with <br />hazardous materials. 3. Employee has on all PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) 4. <br />Applied a 1:1 ratio of FM -186. S. Used absorbent pads to soak up all liquid waste. 6. Put <br />used absorbent pads in orange hazardous waste disposal bags. 7. Placed all equipment <br />and material which came into contact with fuel in the proper hazardous waste bin. 8. <br />Listed quantity, date, time, reason and method of removal. <br />9. Method and location of disposal of waste generated from release and clean up. Attach <br />copies of any hazardous waste manifests: All hazardous waste collected from said spill <br />was disposed of properly in our solid hazardous waste bin located at the rear of the <br />facility. <br />�.. 10. Description of proposed methods of repair or replacement of primary or secondary <br />containment: Replacement for secondary containment is done by calling RFSC who then <br />contracts Filter Recycling Services to pick up our hazardous waste material bins. All <br />manifests are then kept on site. <br />11. Description of additional actions taken to prevent future releases: Knowledge of <br />proper usage for all the dispensing equipment is available, encouraged and enforced by <br />our employees to our customers.
