• File MH28727 <br />TEST RECORD NO. 5 <br />SAMPLES: <br />Page T5-1 0£ 2 <br />Issued: 2004-01-05 <br />New: 2012-10-09 <br />Samples of the. Model KFD1.4 and SBL3.5 sump penetration fittings <br />fabricated of alternate material from Lubrizol designated "Estane 58226" <br />filled with Blue Seal Glue and Bostik 1100 Fast Set Urethane Sealant were <br />submitted by the manufacturer. The sump penetration fittings were installed <br />by the manufacturer to the bottom of 5 gallon polyethylene buckets. Short <br />lengths of plugged pipe wereband clamped to each fitting and the fittings <br />were filled with Bostik 1100 Fast Set Urethane Sealant. The SBL3.5 split <br />repair fittings were bonded with Blue Seal Glue. Each bucket had provision <br />for filling, sealing and pressurizing. <br />GENERAL: <br />The test results relate only to the items tested. <br />The following tests were conducted with the results indicated. <br />SIMULATED USE RESISTANCE TO FLUIDS TEST: <br />METHOD <br />One container as described above was filled with each of the fluids <br />Listed below such that the fittings inside the sump were completely covered <br />with the fluids. The samples and fluids were maintained at a temperature of <br />100°F throughout the exposure.
