Soil Vapor Investigation Work Plan Former STEFANO'S GAS STATION; 1419;East Charter Way, Stockton, California 1.0. INTRODUCTION At the request of Ms. Winifred Ailexander, representing the MaryGardella Trust,Advanced GeoEnvironmentai, Inc. (AGE)has prepared the enclosed work plan for 1419 East Charter ment Way, California. The scope of work includes the advance ;of two soil borings for the Ih or intrusion at the site. The collection of soil-vapor samples to assess the potential for vapor location of the site is illustrated in Figure 1. A plan of the site is illustrated in Figure 2. The Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) and the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) are requiring,evaluation of the site for potential vapor intrusion into adjacent buildings north of the site prior to consideration for low risk closure. Results are evaluated with threshold concentrations established by the. San Francisco Bay Regional Water Quality Control Board Environmental Screening Levels (ESLs) and California Human. Health Screening Levels (CHHSLs). This work plan has been prepared in accordance with CVRWQCB guidelines for the investigation of underground storage tanks (UST) sites and in'accordance with an EHD directive letter, dated 02 February 2012 (Appendix A 2.0. SCOPE OF WORK i AGE proposes to collect soil-vapor samples to assess the potential for soil vapor intrusion l into the buildings adjacent to the site. { The scope of work for this investigation will consist of the following tasks: i • :Permitting and pre-fieldwork preparations; } • Direct push boring advancement and soil-vapor sample:collection; • Soil-vapor sample analysis; • Review and analysis of soil-vapor data; and • Report preparation. 2.1.
