Soil Vapor Investigation Work Plan <br /> Former STEFANO'S GAS STATION; <br /> 1419;East Charter Way, Stockton, California <br /> 1.0. INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Ms. Winifred Ailexander, representing the MaryGardella Trust,Advanced <br /> GeoEnvironmentai, Inc. (AGE)has prepared the enclosed work plan for 1419 East Charter <br /> ment <br /> Way, California. The scope of work includes the advance ;of two soil borings for the <br /> Ih or intrusion at the site. The <br /> collection of soil-vapor samples to assess the potential for vapor <br /> location of the site is illustrated in Figure 1. A plan of the site is illustrated in Figure 2. <br /> The Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) and the San <br /> Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) are requiring,evaluation of the <br /> site for potential vapor intrusion into adjacent buildings north of the site prior to <br /> consideration for low risk closure. Results are evaluated with threshold concentrations <br /> established by the. San Francisco Bay Regional Water Quality Control Board <br /> Environmental Screening Levels (ESLs) and California Human. Health Screening Levels <br /> (CHHSLs). <br /> This work plan has been prepared in accordance with CVRWQCB guidelines for the <br /> investigation of underground storage tanks (UST) sites and in'accordance with an EHD <br /> directive letter, dated 02 February 2012 (Appendix A <br /> 2.0. SCOPE OF WORK <br /> i AGE proposes to collect soil-vapor samples to assess the potential for soil vapor intrusion <br /> l into the buildings adjacent to the site. <br />{ The scope of work for this investigation will consist of the following tasks: <br /> i <br /> • :Permitting and pre-fieldwork preparations; <br />} • Direct push boring advancement and soil-vapor sample:collection; <br /> • Soil-vapor sample analysis; <br /> • Review and analysis of soil-vapor data; and <br /> • Report preparation. <br /> 2.1.
