All field personnel will be trained in hazardous <br /> materials communication and will have completed a 40-hour Health and Safety Course as <br /> specified in OSHA Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response Standard [29 <br /> CFR 1910.120(e)], and 8-hour annual refresher courses as necessary. Additional <br /> information regarding site information will be provided to parties upon request where and <br /> when available. <br /> Prior to mobilization, each soil boring location will be clearly marked and a utility clearance <br /> obtained through Underground Service Alert. All necessary permits will be procured and <br /> present on-site during drilling activities. <br /> 2.2. PROBING AND COLLECTION OF SOIL-VAPOR SAMPLES <br /> AGE proposes to advance'two oil-vapor probe borings to evaluate the potential threat for <br /> intrusion of petroleum hydrocarbon-impacted soil-vapor to indoor air. Each soil boring will <br /> be advanced to a depth of five feet below surface grade (bsg)for collection of a soil-vapor <br /> sample. Field procedures for advancement of borings and collection of soil-vapor samples <br /> are presented in Section 3.1. Proposed boring locations are presented in Figure 2. <br /> Soil-vapor samples will be analyzed by a State of California Department of Public Health <br /> Services (CDPH)-certified laboratory for the following constituents: <br /> • Total petroleum hydrocarbons quantified as gasoline (TPH-g) in accordance with._ <br /> EPA Method 8260B/TO-3; y •�" <br /> • Benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, xylenes (BTEX) and oxygenated compounds in <br /> accordance with EPA Method 8260B/TO-15; and <br /> • Isopropyl alcohol in accordance with EPA Method 8015MITO-15. <br /> Laboratory reports for soil vapor analyses, testing methods, laboratory quality <br /> assurance/quality control (QA/QC) reports, and sample chain of custody documentation <br /> will be presented in a report with findings and recommendations. <br /> 2.3. REPORT PREPARATION <br /> Following the completion of the proposed scope of work, a report will be prepared <br /> presenting the findings. The report will include a description of work performed and the <br /> Advanced CeoEnvironmental,Inc. <br />
