Analytical results from the groundwater samples indicate that groundwater beneath and
' to the west of the former UST excavation is impacted by significant concentrations of
gasoline hydrocarbons The highest concentrations of gasoline hydrocarbons were
detected in the groundwater sample collected from MW-2 This sample contained
' 160,000 µg/l of TPH-as-gasoline, 3,600 µg11 of benzene, 22,000 µg11 of toluene, 5,300
µg/l of ethylbenzene and 32,000 µg11 of xylenes The groundwater sample collected from
' MW-3 contained 7,000 µg/l of TPH-as-gasoline, 130 p.gll of benzene, 11 µg11 of toluene,
460 µgll of ethylbenzene, 510 µg11 of xylenes, and 74 µg11 of TBA Oxygenate
' compounds MTBE, DIPE, ETBE, and TAME were not detected in any of the groundwater
samples The groundwater sample collected from MW-1 did not contain detectable
concentrations of gasoline hydrocarbons The concentrations of TPH-as-gasoline and
benzene are posted on Figure 4 Cumulative analytical results from the groundwater
samples are summarized in Table 2
6
