A S S O C I A T E S I 'N C . <br /> i <br /> During well destruction activities, with the approval of Mr. Harlin Knoll of the San Joaquin <br /> County Public Health Services Environmental Health Division (PHS/EHD), approximately 215 <br /> gallons of monitoring well purge water was surface discharged. The purge water was generated <br /> during the fourth quarter 1996 sampling event and contained no detectable concentrations of <br /> petroleum hydrocarbons. <br /> In correspondence dated January 15, 1998, the City of Stockton Department of Municipal <br /> Utilities agreed to allow the discharge of approximately 1-50 gallons of moderately impacted purge <br /> water to the City of Stockton sewer system. A copy of the permit issued by the City of Stockton <br /> is contained in Attachment 2.
