Ms. Margaret Lagorio
August 9, 1996
i Page 2
i
Regulations, Article 11. This information is required to
determine the cost eligibility for reimbursement, Auth. Section
281.1.2(n)
Your assistance in providing this support will significantly assist the Holt
Bros.'attempts to obtain reimbursement. You may handle this one of two
_ ways..First y-ourn rect_the letter to either Al Kroger at Holt Bros. or to
me at the above address, or you may mail the letter directly to Nancy Callsen
at Post Office Box 944212, Sacramento, CA 94244-2120, or to the address
2014 T Street, Suite .130, Sacramento, CA 95814.
We will, of course, work with the'consultant(s) as well to provide the
necessary documentation that the State Board desires. One issue that we
need to address concerns the solvent tank. We intend to look into the
analytical costs for solvents as compared to petroleum constituents and so
forth. I do not know whether you would be willing to address this matter.
However, the State Board has arbitrarily decided that fifty percent (50%) of
all clean up costs are attributable to the solvents. If you could indicate that
the tightness of the soil would not have allowed for remediation of the
petroleum, regardless of the presence of any solvents, this would be extremely
helpful.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. Should you need our assistance
in any way, just ask. We look forward to receiving your letter.
b _. __ _
- _ .. ter.- .. ...._ '-_ .,_--......-..--._ ._ -.-•.,,._.-.fin .. ..: M
Very truly yours, -
BROOKE K.
