-2- B) ECC shall establish criteria for determining the extent of decontamination necessary to satisfy the closure performance standard of Code of Federal Regulations, Title 40, Section 265. 111. C) ECC shall submit details of the procedures to be used to decontaminate field equipment and machinery including procedures for containment and disposal of the removed contamination. (265. 112 (b) (4) ) D) ECC shall submit revised closure cost estimates to include any additional work or analytical costs resulting from these modifications. The revised closure cost estimate shall include estimates of units and unit costs for each item listed. (265. 142) E) ECC shall submit an estimate of the volume of each type of waste and details on handling and disposal procedures including the anticipated treatment/ disposal facility and the approximate distance to the treatment/disposal facility. (265 . 111 (b) (3) ) F) ECC shall submit additional information on procedures for storing excavated waste materials. This information shall include procedures to prevent contact with uncontaminated soil, wind dispersal, and rain water run on and run off. (265. 112 (b) (3) ) G) ECC shall submit information on the schedule or estimate of the number of periodic inspections by the certifying engineer anticipated during closure. (265. 115) H) ECC shall submit a topographic map showing the facility and surrounding area. (265. 112 (b) ) I) ECC shall specify the type of equipment to be used to excavate and transport the tank, pipeline, and contaminated soil . (265. 112 (b) (3) ) J) ECC shall describe, if known, anticipated future use of the area affected by the closure. (265. 111) 2 . ECC shall comply with the following conditions: A) Overburden from the pipe removal down to 6" above the pipe shall be placed in a separate storage pile. This material may be used for backfill if suitability is demonstrated through sampling and analysis. (265. 111)
