-2- <br /> B) ECC shall establish criteria for determining the <br /> extent of decontamination necessary to satisfy the <br /> closure performance standard of Code of Federal <br /> Regulations, Title 40, Section 265. 111. <br /> C) ECC shall submit details of the procedures to be <br /> used to decontaminate field equipment and machinery <br /> including procedures for containment and disposal of <br /> the removed contamination. (265. 112 (b) (4) ) <br /> D) ECC shall submit revised closure cost estimates to <br /> include any additional work or analytical costs <br /> resulting from these modifications. The revised <br /> closure cost estimate shall include estimates of <br /> units and unit costs for each item listed. <br /> (265. 142) <br /> E) ECC shall submit an estimate of the volume of each <br /> type of waste and details on handling and disposal <br /> procedures including the anticipated treatment/ <br /> disposal facility and the approximate distance to <br /> the treatment/disposal facility. (265 . 111 (b) (3) ) <br /> F) ECC shall submit additional information on <br /> procedures for storing excavated waste materials. <br /> This information shall include procedures to prevent <br /> contact with uncontaminated soil, wind dispersal, <br /> and rain water run on and run off. (265. 112 (b) (3) ) <br /> G) ECC shall submit information on the schedule or <br /> estimate of the number of periodic inspections by <br /> the certifying engineer anticipated during closure. <br /> (265. 115) <br /> H) ECC shall submit a topographic map showing the <br /> facility and surrounding area. (265. 112 (b) ) <br /> I) ECC shall specify the type of equipment to be used <br /> to excavate and transport the tank, pipeline, and <br /> contaminated soil . (265. 112 (b) (3) ) <br /> J) ECC shall describe, if known, anticipated future use <br /> of the area affected by the closure. (265. 111) <br /> 2 . ECC shall comply with the following conditions: <br /> A) Overburden from the pipe removal down to 6" above <br /> the pipe shall be placed in a separate storage pile. <br /> This material may be used for backfill if <br /> suitability is demonstrated through sampling and <br /> analysis.
