(AGE)will be installing additional soil probings at the referenced site on 20 September 1995. We will be collecting soil samples for both hydrocarbon and microbiological analysis. The probings will continue at the northern end of the contaminated area; however, one probing will be placed near the southern end of the contaminated area (near VW-1) so additional microbiological data can be obtained. Physicochemical and microbiological enumeration is now being performed by Mr. A. Keith Kaufman of Culver City, California, to provide an independent third party evaluation. Mr. Kaufman is a leading consultant in environmental biotechnology and has worked for many years serving industry, government and academia. We believe that Mr. Kaufman's contribution will provide many answers to questions concerning progress of the ongoing bioremediation at the Geweke site. As stated in a telephone message to you on 15 September 1995, we would like to postpone the meeting scheduled for 20 September 1995. The initial physicochemical and microbiological analysis from Mr. Kaufman have been received at AGE; additional data will be obtained during the September progress monitoring.
