Geweke Property
16 Cherokee Lane, Lodi - 2 - 13 June 2002
two wells will be completed in Unit 3 at 110 to 120 feet and 112 to 117 feet. Board staff believe that the
proposed well in Unit 2 with a screen interval at 80 to 90 feet in a silt/sandy silt unit would be improved by
constructing the well with a screen interval of 75 to 80 feet in the sand unit above. With this exception,Board
staff concur with AGE'S recommendations.
By 22 July 2002,please submit a complete plan of work to install the two proposed well clusters. In general, the
plan of work should include a proposal to collect continuous core soil samples across the proposed screen
intervals to evaluate preferential pathways(more transmissive zones)where contaminants are more likely to
migrate. Modifications to the proposed screen intervals may need to be made based on the evaluation of
preferential pathways. Well screen intervals below the water table should be limited to five to ten foot sections
based on lithology encountered, and water table wells should not exceed 15 feet of screened interval (5 feet
above and 10 feet below the static water table).
Please notify me a minimum of business days prior to any site work or sampling. If you have any questions or
comments,please call me at(916)255-3115.
C [/ 4IaR.G. 41
arty
Associate Engineering Geologist
cc: Mr. Mark Owens,UST Cleanup Fund, SWRCB, Sacramento
Mr.Harlin Knoll, San Joaquin County Environmental Health Division, Stockton
Mr. Brian Millman, Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Incorporated, Stockton
