One 55 aa!lon drum of solid meta! brake arindinas located adlacent to the brake arindlno machinery <br />and one 55 gallons drum of oily solids (booms) located in the room with the drained used oil filters both <br />lack the hazardous properties. Ail hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following <br />information - <br />1 the words "Hazardous Waste", 2. name and address of generator, 3. hazardous properties <br />4. physical state, 5. composition (contents), 6. accumulation start date <br />Immediately label these containers and ensure that all hazardous waste containers are marked with all <br />the required information. <br />- Corrected onsite. Both drums were marked hazardous property: toxic <br />999. CCR 66265.54 The contingency plan for this facility is outdated. The Plan lists incorrect information <br />for the emergency coordinator. Primary emergency coordinator name lists Mark Boteiho rather than <br />Mike (spelling error) and the alternate emergency coordinator lists Steve Marvel who is no longer <br />employed. The contingency plan shall be reviewed, and immediately amended, if necessary, whenever <br />any of the following occur- <br />- applicable regulations are revised - the plan fails in an emergency <br />- the facility changes in its design, construction, operation, maintenance, or other circumstance in a way <br />that materially increases the potential for fires, explosions, or releases of hazardous waste or hazardous <br />waste constituents, or changes the response necessary in an emergency <br />- the list of emergency coordinators changes - the list of emergency equipment changes <br />Immediately amend the contingency plan for this facility to include the updated information, maintain a <br />current copy on site at all times. Submit a statement of how the change will be made. <br />Submit to SJC EHD within 30 days (07/08/11): <br />1. one copy of the completed "Return to Compliance Certification" form <br />2. a written corrective action statement for each of the above violations <br />3. requested/ supporting documentation, ie. disposal receipts <br />Note: -In 2010 year, facility generated approximately 1750 gallons (69 tons) of used oil and 825 gallons <br />(3.3 tons) of antifreeze = 72.3 tons of hazardous waste. <br />-Provided free training schedule for 2011 year. Recommended courses: Universal Waste Management, <br />Hazardous Waste Management, SPCC (Spill Prevention Control & Countermeasure) Plan, Basic Auto <br />Industry Management. <br />-Received hazardous waste tank assessment for waste oil and antifreeze.
