Five soil samples were taken directly from the <br />I <br />Piping trench at a depth of approximately 3 feet. The five <br />r <br />samples were labeled ##23SS-PIPE-A, - -C, -D, and -E. <br />The soil samples from the excavii ation were taken by <br />driving a clean brass sleeve into soil brought to the <br />surface in the backhoe bucket. All piping soil samples were <br />taken by driving a clean brass sleeve! directly into the <br />i <br />trench soil with a wooden mallet. The samples were sealed <br />with aluminum foil, ca �I <br />Aped, wrapped ,with plastic tape, <br />labeled, placed in iced storage, andlwere delivered under <br />i. <br />chain-of-custod <br />y procedures to GeoAnalytical Laboratories in <br />Modesto, California, for analysis.
