The above items were identified by Iftikar Salim as waste that had not been processed yet. The following was found in the store's pharmacy: - The pharmacy's HW tote lacked the physical state on the label . - The pharmacy manager, Mark Tamora , was asked what is done with expired bottles of warfarin or coumadin . Mark proceeded to ask this same question to Ashley Trujillo , a pharmacist. Ashley stated that she couldn't remember a time when the pharmacy ever had expired warfarin , since it is rapidly used up by consumers. However, Ashley retrieved a bottle of un-expired warfarin ( IMG 1573) from a pharmacy shelf and processed the bottle of warfarin into the pharmacy computer system as expired . Ashley revealed that the computer system prompted her to return the bottle of warfarin to Genco ( IMG 1572) . - An open blue bin in the pharmacy, labeled as Weekly StrongPak Accumulation Bin , contained two viles of loose pills and a StrongPak bag containing liquid vaccine vials ( IMG 1574- 1575) . According to Mark and Ashley , the pharmaceuticals in this blue bin are processed every Sunday. The generator must ensure that all employees who handle hazardous waste are thoroughly familiar with proper waste handling and emergency procedures . Provide proof of training to the EHD for employees whose responsibilities include hazardous waste. This is a minor violation .
