Project A152 21 February 1992
s
Also on 31 January, the inlet temperature controller was replaced and
the vacuum pump was lubricated to hopefully reduce the amperage draw
from the motor. The extraction line for RW-1 was checked for leaks and
found to be air tight. A leak check could not be performed at the RW-1
well head because the well box wrench was stolen along with the
instruments.
On 7 February, the system totals were monitored using a leased Organic
Vapor Analyzer (OVA) . Air bag samples were taken of the system
influent and effluent air streams. The effluent sample was not valid
and will be resampled. The vacuum was increased to 3.8" Hg. The
hydrocarbon mass removal rate was increased to approximately 385 pounds
per day.
From 18 July 1991 to 7 February 1992, the system operated 118 days,
extracting approximately 28,985 pounds of hydrocarbons. This is
equivalent to approximately 4,675 gallons of hydrocarbons.
Please feel free to call if you have any questions or comments.
Sincerely,
EVAX Technologies, Inc.
Robert A.
