1• Sampling of the three groundwater moni.nring wells on a bimonthly basis for a period
Of six months. Water samples collected should be analyzed for purgeable
halocarbons by EPA Method 601.
2. Excavation and rc-moval of the remaining contaminated soils located adjacent to the
service garage. The excavation of soil will be accomplished using a hydrodigger to
remove a vertical wall of soil approximately 30 inches wide,90 inches long and 10 feet
deep. Cuttinge, from the hydrodigger will be placed into 55-gallon drums and
disposed of off-sire at a Department of Health Services licensed Class II Iandfill.
3. Abandonment of the underground gasoline tank by filling the tank with a concrete '
T
slurry. Excavation and removal of the tank is precluded due to its proximity to the
foundation of the service garage. A Foundation Investigation Report prepared by
R.W. Siegfried and Associates in 1989 has been included in Appendix 3.
4. Interpretation of the data collected and preparation of bimontYdy Monitoring Reports
to Ipresent to the San Joaquin County De-- ty artment of Health.alth. A subsequent
groundwater monitoring schedule will be proposed, if necessary, to the Department
of Health at the end of the six month period.
j .
f;
- t
S
.a €
P, I 12211111101M
