DDRW-WB PAGE 3 <br /> SUBJECT : Offsite Contamination of Crops and Agricultural <br /> Supply Wells <br /> Samples from all agricultural wells were drawn immediately <br /> downstream of the well pump motor , prior to the pipeline <br /> entering the ground . All wells were allowed to run at <br /> least 30 minutes before a sample was drawn . The sampling <br /> locations were changed 'because the agricultural irrigation <br /> system at the Raspa property is tied together and it is <br /> possible that we could have had cross contamination during <br /> the first test . <br /> The results of the second test (9 September 1991) indicated <br /> that Agricultural Well 2 is contaminated with PCE/TCE and <br /> that Agricultural Wells 1 and 3 are clean . This is <br /> confirmed by test results from the split sample sent to <br /> Sequoia Analytical , of Redwood City , California (Enclosure <br /> 3) . <br /> DDRW-WB does not have a well log for Agricultural Well 2 <br /> nor can Mr . Raspo provide one . <br /> A map illustrating Agricultural Wells 1 through 3 may be <br /> found at Enclosure 4 . <br /> Before proceeding further with this process , DDRW-WB feels <br /> that this issue should be discussed at the upcoming Project <br /> Managers meeting so as to develop a uniform approach . <br /> Should you have any questions or require additional <br /> information , please contact Mr .
