The report summarizes the ground water analytical data
and depth-to-ground water measurements collected from October 2004 to
September 2005 at DDJC-Tracy. DTSC has reviewed the report and has the following
comments:
Comments:
1.) Page 5-5, section 5.3.3; DTSC recommends following the United States
Environmental Protection Agency guidance on capture zone analysis which
includes the development of target capture zones, multiple lines of evidence to
interpret actual capture and comparison to target capture zones along with the
systematic reporting of the capture zone analysis effort. Please incorporate this
guidance in future Annual Ground Water Monitoring Reports.
2.) Page 5-6, section 5.3.3.6; Capture lines were not drawn around Extraction Wells
(EW), EW019 and EW020A or in the Middle Hydrogeologic zone around
EW024B and EW02513, in Figures 5.3-1A, 1B. DTSC recommends including the
capture zone lines for the above-mentioned EWs in Figures 5.3-1A and 5.3-2A.
9 Printed on Recycled Paper
