The data <br /> tables give detection limits of 0.0 to 0.143 ng/L and does not list reporting limits. <br /> However, six of the reported concentrations are below the listed "detection limits", so it <br /> appears that the listed values may actually be reporting limits. Please clarify the reporting <br /> limits, the detection limits and the units in the dioxin/furan tables in Appendix E. <br /> MINOR COMMENTS <br /> 1. Section 1.3.1.1, Page 1-2: The first three lines at the top of page 1-2 are repeated from <br /> the previous page. Please delete these three lines. <br /> 2. Plate 1: The legend indicates that the symbol and label for the chimney drain (CD I) <br /> should be black, but both the listing at the bottom of the page and the symbol and label <br /> on the map are green. Similarly, the infiltration gallery symbol on the map is grey, the <br /> label is green and this symbol is not included in the legend. Please resolve these <br /> discrepancies. <br /> 3. Section 2.2.2, Page 2-1: The figures cited in this section (Figures 1.1-1A and 1.1-1B) do <br /> not contain the information described in this section. Please cite the correct figure. <br /> 4. Section 6.4.4.1, Page 6-4: It appears that the sentence discussing the tetrachloroethene <br /> (PCE) concentrations inadvertently cited the TCE ROD cleanup level of 0.35 parts per <br /> million by volume (ppmv) instead of the PCE ROD cleanup level. Please revise the <br /> sentence to cite the PCE cleanup level of 0.78 ppmv. <br /> 5. Table 6.4-1, Page 6-8, Other Contaminants of Concern: The table mentions <br /> "Cis-1,2-dichloroethane" in three separate places. The correct name for this chemical is <br /> "cis-1,2-Dichloroethene". Please revise the table with corrections. <br /> 3 <br />
