Excavatlon of Hydrocarbon Iampacted Soil <br /> Country Mart <br /> 34243 South Chrisman Road <br /> Tracy, California <br /> Three underground storage tanks (UST's), dispenser islands and a5ociated piping <br /> were iremoved from the site in Januawy 1945. The USTs were used to store regular <br /> unleaded,premium unleaded and diesel fuel_ After removal procedures, soil samples were <br /> collected from beneath each UST. Samples collected from'Ibeneath the USTs and dispenser <br /> islands indicated the presence of low conceintrations of gasoline-contaminated soil. <br /> The property owner,Mr.Pusbpinder Singh has contf a ted to excavate approximately <br /> j 100 cubic yards of hydrocarbon impacted soil fzam the UST and dispenser island areas. The <br /> excavated soil will be stockpiled near the southern! portion of the property for <br /> characterization at a later date.
