Monitoring Well Destruction. (a) We have added a statement that all work shall be conducted "under the ' direction of a California Registered Professional Engineer, California Professional Geologist, or a California Certified Engineering Geologist". (b) The need for submittal and approval of Groundwater Well Project Description Addenda prior to the destruction of any monitoring well has been added, as requested. (c) The discussion has been updated to include other well destruction methods allowed by California Bulletin 74-90 and San Joaquin County Well Standards. ' 8. Reporting. Reference to Attachment F of the WDRs has been added and a copy of Attachment F is now provided in Appendix B. ' 9. Groundwater Sampling and Analysis Plan. The Groundwater Sampling and Analysis Plan was revised as requested and is now attached as an Appendix (Appendix D). (a.i) Established Monitoring Network: The discussion of the approved groundwater monitoring network and associated well location maps was moved from the body of the workplan and is now included as part of the Groundwater Sampling and Analysis Plan. Table D1 now identifies groundwater monitoring wells sampled for water level only (WL) and wells sampled for water level and water quality (WL, A). (a.ii) List of Chemical Analyses: Table D2 lists the constituents to be ' analyzed. The constituent list identifies constituents specified in the Monitoring and Reporting Program by shading the row and using a "A" identifier in the "purpose" column. (b) As requested, the references were removed and a clarifying statement included that all samples must be collected consistent with EPA methods. (c) Analyte "hardness" and "Maximum Holding Time" added to Table D2. ' (d) We have added "Purge Water Discharge to Land Applicaton Area No. to the bottom of the Well Development Log and the Well Purging and Sampling Log provided in Appendix C. Text has been added to step (vi) ' indicating purge water may be discharged to the surrounding land if conditions are acceptable, or trucked for disposal to a land application area — never disposed to the stormwater drain or surface water features.
