Jack if off work this
week.
Thank you for reviewing the work plan and backup information. I know you received an email
from the Regional Board for the site.
AGE prepared the work plan as a pilot test,'and limited the areas and oxidants to gauge the
site response to ISCO. The calculated values presented in Table 7 were wrong and an
attached table represents the corrected volumes. The more important volume is the oxidant
value and how much reaction will be observed from the treatment vs. the site organic
conditions. The mass of oxidant delivery is typically low to reduce rapid and fluid reactions
against the TPH residuals and long-chain TPN. Remember oxidants and fuels are not
compatible for storage...
AGE has provided some information for an oxidizer produce type and activator from
Regenesis; however, they only represent a supplier (MSDS). Several manufactures or supplier
providers of the chemicals (solid peroxide and iron activators) are available and other vendors
will be used to reduce overall project costs.
This pilot test will aide with full term remediation decisions, as this pilot test is not full scale
remediation. A pilot test for water injection will.be useless, 't_Inless-future wells", rerimmediataly ,
proposed. AGE has performed"injection_s in"most hydrogeologic media.and given these
volumes of injectant , the pilot test can be performed and the same decisions are attainable
without 'pre-test`The site g oe logy was something AGE considered when preparing the pilot
test.
AGE will plan to proceed with the pilot test pending your approval. Please call me if you have
any questions. I will be performing the pilot test for Ally Colavita.
Sincerely,
William R.
