The addendum
provides estimates of when shallow ground water, impacted with dissolved phase
hydrocarbons, may achieve water quality objectives and the work plan provides procedures
for the advancement of three (3) borings to evaluate the potential for hydrocarbon soil
vapors to intrude into the onsite buildings. The addendum evaluation and work plan were
prepared as required by the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department, by
letter dating 26 July 2012. The site location and plan of the site, which includes boring
locations are attached in Figures 1 and 2. The referenced trend graphs are attached in
Appendix A. Historical ground water analytical results are included in Table 1.
TREND GRAPH ANALYSIS OF SHALLOW GROUND WATER
' -'P Based on the most current analytical results for the site, monitoring wells MW-1, MW-2 and
"'MW-3 are the only wells at the site with remaining dissolved hydrocarbon impact.
Concentrations of total petroleum hydrocarbons quantified as gasoline (TPH-g), methyl
tertiary butyl ether (MTBE) and benzene were plotted against time for each of the three
wells. A trend line was then used plotted through the concentrations in an attempt to cross
the x-axis and to predict when each constituent would reach a non-detection level (achieve
water quality objectives).
Based on trend graph analysis, estimates of when water quality objectives, if attainable,
are provided below; trend graphs are included in Appendix A.
8,;7 Shaw Road • Stockton.
