One
domestic well owner refused access and one owner could not be reached. Site access
agreements were signed prior to sampling the domestic wells. On 15 March 2012, two
domestic wells (10757 and 10967) were resampled. The Site domestic well (10848)
and the two downgradient domestic wells (10757, 10967) were sampled on 1 May 2012.
With the exceptions noted in Table 2 below, all remaining domestic well results were
non-detect.
Domestic Well Date Benzene 1,2-DCA
3/7/2012 0.22 <0.3
10757 0pr5/13/15/2012 <0.2 <0.3
p bury KFC /2012 <0.2 <0.3
3/7/2012 0.221 101
10967 3/15/2012 <0.21 251
8-f 3/15/2012 <0.2 7.8Z
J=J-flagged as an estimated value below reporting limits 1 =pre-treatment(well) 2=post owner's carbon treatment
After three rounds of sampling (1/25/2012, 3/7/2012, and 5/1/2012) of the site domestic
well, which is located 50' from MW-5, all Site domestic results have been non-detect for
all constituents. However, sample results from domestic wells 10757 and 10967
reported benzene at the exact same J-flagged concentrations below the benzene
maximum contaminant level (MCLS, 1 ug/L), and 10967 reported 1,2-DCA (10 ug/L)
above the MCLS (0.5 ug/L) on 7 March 2012. Upon resampling on 15 March 2012, both
10757 and 10967 wells were non-detect for benzene (<0.2 ug/L) and 10967 again
I
