(TSGI). The Workplan proposes the following tasks:
• Conduct fieldwork for the investigation of soil and groundwater, including installation of five (5)
2-inch diameter onsite monitoring wells with 20' screens (MW-1 through MW-5) in borings
advanced to 100' below ground surface bgs (if first water depth is approximately 90' bgs). Total
depth may be adjusted per agreement of the TGSI geologist or engineer and Regional Board staff;
• Conduct a sensitive receptor survey (door to door search, and records of Department of Water
Resources, this Regional Board, and Environmental Data Resources)to locate and attempt to
sample all domestic wells identified onsite and within 500' of the Site;
• Conduct four quarters of quarterly groundwater monitoring, including nearby domestic wells with
access, using USEPA Method 82608 for total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline, benzene,
toluene, ethylbenzene, xylenes, methyl tert butyl ether, tertiary butyl alcohol, di-isopropyl ether,
ethyl tert butyl ether, tert amyl methyl ether, ethylene dibromide and 1, 2- dichloroethane; and
• Submit a site investigation report with recommendations within 4 weeks of receipt of analytical data.
The Workplan was written in compliance with tasks in the Cost Estimate approved by my letter dated
14 July 2011, and is necessary and appropriate to investigate the release of petroleum hydrocarbons,
and to assess human health risk to nearby domestic wells. The Workplan is approved.
