Currently,the property is sitting idle and is only used for miscellaneous storage. <br /> • The Property is fenced and secured on all sides. <br /> ' 0 Only minor areas of stained soil were observed on the Property. <br /> • A large amount of old tracks,old cars,truck parts, and trash still remain on this Property. <br /> ' • An old water well and pump house still remain. Reportedly this well is no longer in use. <br /> ' • The Property is listed in the State and Federal Database Search document as having a leaking <br /> underground storage tank(LUST). <br /> Adjoining and Surrounding Properties <br /> ' 1. A study of Historical Aerial Photos from 1940, 1952, 1963, 1975, and 1983 indicates that the <br /> adjoining and surrounding properties were used for agricultural purposes until the early 1980's when <br /> ' housing developments began moving into the area. <br /> 2. Currently, the adjoining properties are used for residential purposes and the surrounding lands are <br /> ' used for residential and commercial purposes. <br /> 3. No adjoining or immediately surrounding property has listed environmental violations per the State <br /> and Federal Database Search. <br /> ' 4. There are a number of surrounding properties listed within the State and Federal Database Search <br /> distance as having regulated environmental conditions. <br /> 1.3 Observations,Conclusions&Recommendations <br /> Subject Property <br /> ' This assessment has revealed evidence of recognized environmental conditions of concern in <br /> connection with the Property. <br /> ' 1. Maintenance Shop: <br /> Observations <br /> • There is an old maintenance shop on the western portion of the Property. This shop was built in <br /> 1968 and was used for the repair and maintenance of the tracks used by R&B Tracking. <br /> • At the time of the site visit,the shop was locked and could only be observed through the broken <br /> windows in the back side of the shop. It appeared to be mostly empty, with a few cans of paint, <br /> ' drums,and miscellaneous parts and materials. <br /> • No floor drains or sumps were visible. <br /> Conclusions <br /> • It is not known if the cans and drams contain liquid or chemicals of some kind. <br /> ' 20-4341-11.E01/201IR959 Page 5of31 <br /> Copyright 2001,Kleinfelder,Inc.
