CHOW ENGINEERING,INC. • <br /> 7 May 2001 <br /> 9.0 "Tailgate" Safety Meetings <br /> CE will hold and document daily Tailgate Safety Meetings (TSMs), at a minimum <br /> occurring prior to commencement of operations at each shift change. The TSMs will be <br /> attended by all personnel working in or visiting the operations area and by <br /> subcontractors. TSMs will address the specific tasks and associated hazards related to <br /> the work to be performed during the shift. Additional meetings will be conducted as <br /> necessary throughout the workday. As site conditions change and/or the situation <br /> requires TSMs will be documented as described in CE SOP #H&S 003. All participants <br /> will sign the TSM form sheet to document attendance and comprehension of the topics, <br /> plans and procedures discussed. <br /> 10.0 Work Site Maintenance <br /> Daily clean ups of the work area will be performed by CE and all CE on-site <br /> subcontractors. All non-usable surplus materials and debris, if any, resulting from the <br /> work on this project shall be properly packaged, removed and disposed of in a timely <br /> manner according to regulation and pursuant to the procedures outlined in the project <br /> Proposal and/or Work Plan prepared by CE. <br /> 11.0 Emergency Procedures <br /> In case of a site emergency, CE will utilize the standard emergency communication <br /> system by dialing 911 for reporting of emergency incidents to the local response <br /> authorities. The following represent procedures for response to emergencies. <br /> • Report emergency to crew supervisor or person-in-charge. Supervisor notifies <br /> emergency services, if required, and client. <br /> • Evaluate emergency for appropriate response. <br /> • Stabilize (first aid) any injured persons. Move persons to safe area as required <br /> by hazards. If person is contaminated decontaminate as much as permitted by <br /> urgency to transport person to medical care. <br /> • If transporting injured and contaminated person to off-site medical care notify <br /> hospital/clinic of nature of contamination prior to arrival at hospital/clinic. <br /> Site Specific Safety Plan <br /> General Dynamics(Primex,Inc.) <br /> SWMU 21 and AOC 4 Project 6 <br />
