4 2 STATE RECORDS SEARCH <br /> The state report was prepared from records maintained by the California Integrated Waste <br /> Management Board (IWMB), California Water Resources Control Board (WRCB), <br /> California Office of Planning and Research, and California Department of Health Services <br /> (DHS) Records pertaining to the following categories of site were reviewed <br /> o Solid Waste Information System (SWIS) <br /> o Leaking Underground Storage Tanks (LUST) <br /> o Hazardous Waste and Substance Sites (Cortese) <br /> o Bond Expenditure Plan (BEP) <br /> o CAL-SITES <br /> o Waste Discharge Systems (WDS) <br /> o Underground Storage Tanks (UST) <br /> The Solid Waste Information System (SWIS) list includes an inventory of active, inactive, <br /> and closed solid waste disposal and transfer facilities The inventory is maintained by <br /> the IWMB pursuant to the Solid Waste Management and Resource Recovery Act of 1972 <br /> Review of the March 1993 SWIS list indicates that there are no SWIS sites within the study <br /> area <br /> The WRCB maintains a list of sites at which leaking underground storage tanks (LUSTS) <br /> have been reported The records reviewed were current as of July 1994 and indicate two <br /> LUST sites within the study area According to the records, ground water has been <br /> impacted by releases at one of these LUST sites: the BP station (formerly Mobil) at <br /> 1403 Country Club Boulevard.
