I� <br /> 1.4 INTRODUCTION <br /> } <br /> This report documents the findings of a Phase I and II environmental site assessment for <br /> the former Bank of the West branch office located at 1267 Country Club Boulevard in <br /> Stockton, California The Phase I assessment was performed by Geosystem Consultants, Inc. <br /> (Geosystem) pursuant to a written request from Bank of the West dated December 20, 1994 <br /> A draft Phase I report was submitted to Bank of the West via facsimile on January 31, 1995 <br /> Based on the findings of the Phase I assessment, a Phase II assessment involving the <br /> collection and chemical analysis of soil and ground water samples was recommended by <br /> Geosystem.
