a <br /> Vff <br /> 4.11.1 Responsibilities <br /> 4.11.1.1 Emergency Coordinator <br /> The site Field Supervisor is responsible for field implementation of the ECR <br /> and will act as the Site Emergency Coordinator. As the Emergency Coordinator, <br /> Specific duties include: <br /> Communicating site ECR requirements to all personnel, whether <br /> directly involved in emergency response or not <br /> • Specifying a backup alternate <br /> • Purchasing supplies as necessary <br /> • Controlling activities of subcontractors and respond to outside <br /> agencies <br /> • Anticipating, identifying, assessing, and controlling fires, exp1U- <br /> sions, chemical releases, and other emergency situations. <br /> 4,11.1.2 Health and Safety Coordinator <br /> The Health and Safety Coordinator is responsible for: <br /> • Establishing health and safety procedures <br /> • Conducting preproject training <br /> • Instructing the Field Supervisor and Emergency Coordinator <br /> • Monitoring during project start-up, <br /> He/she will make advance arrangements with appropriate support groups and <br /> alert them to the site hazards and types of emergencies that may arise. As <br /> the Safety Coordinator, specific duties include: <br /> • Provide a map of the site location and define the ingress routes <br /> • Identifying medical and emergency facilities <br /> _ Providing training and information about hazards on site and special <br /> handling procedures. <br /> 4.11.1.3 Personnel and Subcontractors <br /> - All on-site personnel, whether involved in emergency response or not, will be <br /> notified of their responsibilities in an emergency.
