Nonpotable and potable water <br /> outlets shall be physically separated so as to minimize confusion and <br /> possible cross contamination. <br /> 1 4.11 EMERGENCY CONTINGENCY AND RESPONSE <br /> The Health and Safety Plan has been established to allow site operations to <br /> be conducted in a manner to minimize hazards to employee health and safety. <br /> This Emergency Contingency and Response (ECR) section has been developed to <br /> cover extraordinary conditions that might occur at the site. <br /> All accidents and unusual events will be dealt with in a manner to minimize <br /> health risk to site workers and the surrounding community. In the event of an <br /> r accident or other unusual event, the following procedures will be followed: <br /> • <br /> First aid and other appropriate initial. action will be administered <br /> by properly trained personnel closest to the incident. This assist- <br /> ance will be conducted in a manner to assure.that those rendering <br /> assistance are not place:; in a situation of unacceptable risk. <br /> - All 'incidents will be reported to and documented by the designated <br /> r _ Emergency Coordinator, who is responsible for coordinating the emer- <br /> gency response in an efficient, rapid, and safe manner. The <br /> Emergency Coordinator will decide if off-site assistance, medical <br /> treatment, or both is required and arrange for such assistance. The <br /> - Emergency Coordinator will ensure that adequate emergency equipment <br /> will be available on site. <br /> E —_ All workers on site are expected to be responsible and to conduct <br /> themselves in a mature, calm manner in the event of an accident or <br /> E unusual event.
