The 15-minute short term exposure limit is 500 ppm. To ensure that . <br /> no project workers are overexposed to hydrocaroon vapor IT has instituted a <br /> project standard of 50 ppm for gasoline vapor. Respiratory equipment is <br /> - required above this level. <br /> V.8 PROTECTIVE MEASURES <br /> V.8.3 Personnel Protection: <br /> All project personnel shall wear safety glasses, safety boots or shoes, Tong- <br /> sleeved shirts and pants. When in the immediate vicinity of drilling <br /> operations, personnel shall also wear hearing protection. Personnel will wear <br /> \tj <br /> nitrile gloves, neoprene boots and polytyvek coveralls when handling <br /> potentially gasoline contaminated soils and liquids.
