t ;
Sanchez Prope rty/Michelotti's Auto page 2
1876 Country Club Blvd., Stockton February 6, 2012
Either an air-hammer conductor casing of adequate size is to be driven to 28' bgs around
the existing well or a sonic casing is to be advanced around the well to 28' bgs. These
casings should be of adequate diameter to surround the existing construction materials of
the well (hardened grout), capable of providing a separation from the surrounding pea-
gravel, and provide access for drilling out the well contents. After the contents of the well
are drilled out and removed, pea-gravel is to be introduced through the conductor casing
as it is removed. This will prevent undermining the UST pit as discussed .in the Plan while
also meeting the intention of. San Joaquin County Well Standards 'by removing a
preferential pathway. Please check with your drilling contractor to ensure that MW-10 is
destroyed by either of these methods.
The Plan is adequate and necessary and approved with the above noted modifications
[Health and Safety Code, 25296.10(c)(3)].
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. If you have any questions, please
contact Mr. Michael Infurna at (209) 468-3454.
Michael J.
