The plan is a proposal for mitigation (soil over-excavation) of <br /> hazardous substances which may have contaminated the site due to a possible <br /> unauthorized release associated with the underground storage tanks (UST) which are <br /> located on the property. <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division, Local UST <br /> Oversight Program, has made a tentative determination that the plan is in compliance <br /> with local, State and Federal laws and regulations and that the resultant work will not <br /> create significant adverse environmental impacts which exceed the benefits to be gained <br /> from cleanup of the contamination. <br /> The corrective action plan is available for public review at PHS-EHD, 304 E. Weber <br /> Street, Third Floor, Stockton, California, during normal working hours, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 <br /> p.m.(closed 12 noon to 1:00 p.m.) If a written request by any member of the public <br /> for a public hearing is not received by PHS-EHD by 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, January <br /> 28, 1998, the tentative decision shall become final on that date and time. <br /> All requests for public hearings must be filed in writing to PHS-EHD at 304 E. Weber <br /> Ave., Third Floor, Stockton, 95202.
