O. Box 2009
Stockton, CA 95201 ENVIRONMENTAL H F kLTFI
PERMIT I SERVICES
Subject: Work Plan for Excavation of Contaminated Soil
Kwikee Food Mart
2081 Country Club Boulevard
Stockton,CA
Dear Mr. Infurna:
Upgradient Environmental Consultants has been retained by Mr. William Peters to
supervise the removal of underground storage tanks from the Kwikee Food Mart at 2081
Country Club Boulevard in Stockton. In the event that gasoline-contaminated soil is
encountered around or below the tanks during the removal process, the most cost-efficient
method of dealing with such soil would be to remove it in conjunction with the tank
removal. Therefore,we have prepared the attached work plan describing the methods that
would be used to remove, sample, store, and dispose of the contaminated soil. Also
enclosed is an Executive Summary of the work planthat is intended to gatisfy the
requirement for 30-day notice of proposed corrective actions such as excavation. We
request that you post this notice in the appropriate places.
Should you have questions regarding the scope of work, please contact me at 772-3620.
Sincerely,
Victor B.
