Bcgttiued research of the site to obtain brief history. <br /> ♦ Preparation of a Work Plan,Site Health and Safety Plan(SHSP)and drilling permit. <br /> ♦ The Work Plan, <br /> SHSP and permit will be submitted to the PHS/EM for review and <br /> approval. <br /> ♦ Regulatory liaison. <br /> - Moaftaft Well-histallation <br /> Drill two (2).`soil borings r to depths of 45 feet. The boring will:be drilled use..a <br /> truck-mounted, hollow stem auger drill rig. Anger returns will, be placed in D.M <br /> approved dMM and stored on-site pending laboratory results. <br /> ♦ Collection and preservation of soil samples at five=foot intervals. <br /> ♦ Field screening of soil samples and auger returns using a photo-ionization detector. <br /> ♦ Complete soil borings as 2-inch diameter gfoundwater monitoring wells. The wells <br /> will be completed according to PHS/EHD guidelines. <br /> Transmission of soil samples to a state-certified analytical laboratory. <br /> TASK 3 - Monitoriu%II Samoa <br /> ♦ ' Survey and development of new monitoring wells. The existing monitoring well u!ill. <br /> also be surveyed. <br /> ♦ Groundwater depth measurements. The depth to groundwater will be measured.in <br /> each well (3 wells). <br /> ♦ Each well (total of 3 wells)will be purged of standing water to stabilize groundwater <br /> parameters (pH, temperature, conductivity). Purge water will be placed in DOT: <br /> approved drums and stored on-site. <br /> ♦ Collection of one (I) groundwater sample from each well.
