In
compliance with the directive issued by you on July 31, we are submitting the enclosed work
plan on behalf of Mr. Peters to perform additional drilling. We have applied for a Revocable
Permit from the City of Stockton, and will forward that and the related Encroachment Permit to
you when they have been approved by the City. At that time we will also submit the required
drilling permit fees and permit applications and Site Health and Safety Plan.
If the plan meets with your approval and Upgradient's cost estimate is then pre-approved by the
State UST Cleanup Fund, the drilling and well installation will be performed by West Hazmat
Drilling of Rancho Cordova, California. We anticipate that the drilling will take place after the
UST's have been removed from the site late this year or early in 1998.
Should you have questions regarding the scope of work, please contact me at 772-3620.
Sincerely,
Victor B.
